Grants

Olga and Vilho Linnamo Foundation awards grants to artists and researchers as well as for activities of general interest. The annual application period for the Foundation grants is in May. The call for grant applications is published on the Foundation's website (www.linnamonsaatio.fi) towards the end of April each year.

Award

The Linnamo Prize is a Finnish fine arts prize awarded by Olga and Vilho Linnamo Foundation every two years. The award is given in recognition of committed exploration shown in artistic practice. It is worth 15 000 euros and was awarded for the first time in 2021.

Foundation

Olga and Vilho Linnamo Foundation is in its sixth decade in promoting artistic work, new thinking and social action. In 2020, the Foundation introduced a thematic annual call for applications aiming to open up socially acute questions to diverse artistic and scientific inquiries.
